Air Fryer Lasgana

Are you ready to revolutionize your lasagna game with the power of the air fryer? This recipe for air fryer lasagna is not only delicious but also incredibly simple to prepare. Prepare to be amazed as your lasagna transforms into a mouthwatering masterpiece right before your eyes.

Ingredients Needed:

Minced Beef – 750g

Onion – 1 medium-sized

Tomatoes – 1 can

Garlic – 2 teaspoons (frozen chopped)

Lasagna Sheets – 8

Seasonings – Parsley, Oregano, Salt & Pepper

Tomato Puree/Paste – 1 tablespoon

Cheese Sauce

How To Make:

Preparing the Ingredients: Start by peeling and dicing the onion. Load the onions into the air fryer basket and give them a light spray with extra virgin olive oil. Cook the onions for about 3 minutes at 180°C/360°F until they become translucent and aromatic.

Soaking the Lasagna Sheets: While the onions are cooking, place the dried lasagna sheets into a large casserole dish filled with water. Allow the lasagna sheets to soak until they become soft. Once softened, remove them from the water and let them sit on a clean work surface to drain off any excess liquid.

Cooking the Minced Beef: Transfer the cooked onions into a silicone dish. Add the minced beef, garlic, and seasoning into the dish. Air fry the mixture for 5 minutes at 180°C/360°F. Stir the mixture and then continue air frying for an additional 4 minutes at the same temperature until the beef is browned and cooked through.

Assembling the Lasagna: Move the cooked minced beef into a mixing bowl. Add in the tinned tomatoes, tomato puree, garlic, and remaining seasonings. Mix everything well to combine.

In the silicone dish, layer the cooked minced beef followed by a layer of lasagna sheets. Repeat the layering process until you’ve used up all the ingredients, finishing with a generous topping of cheese sauce.

Air Frying the Lasagna: Place the assembled lasagna into the air fryer and cook for 15 minutes at 180°C/360°F. Keep an eye on it until the lasagna is bubbling and golden on top.

Serving Your Delicious Creation:

Once the air fryer signals that your lasagna is ready, serve it hot alongside some air fryer garlic bread and a crisp salad for a complete meal experience.
