Made the French onion & philly cheese chicken dish. Was amazing! I added bacon and a teaspoon of garlic to it too and used chicken breast as I don’t like thighs. Served it on a bed of mash potato highly recommend it. I couldn’t find the philly cheese in the French onion flavour so i used the dried soup packet & mixed it into the cream before pouring into the slow cooker.
Ingredients:
500g diced chicken thigh
110 gram block of French Onion Cream Cheese (I used White Valley brand)
200ml cooking cream
60 gram baby spinach leaves
Directions:
Brown diced chicken well in searing slow cooker
Add cream cheese & stir for 2-3 minutes as it melts to coat chicken with it.
Add cooking cream & stir
Cover & use Tea Towel Trick
Cook on HIGH for a further 1 hour 15 minutes
Add spinach & stir through until wilted.
