Instructions
- Bring steak to room temperature
Take the ribeye steak out of the fridge 20–30 minutes before cooking. This helps it cook evenly. - Preheat the air fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3–5 minutes. - Season the steak
Pat the steak dry with kitchen paper. Rub both sides with olive oil. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika evenly on both sides. - Cook the steak
Place the steak in the air fryer basket.
Cook at 200°C (400°F):- Rare: 6–7 minutes
- Medium-rare: 8–9 minutes
- Medium: 10–11 minutes
Flip the steak halfway through cooking.
- Rest the steak
Remove the steak from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes. This keeps the meat juicy. - Serve
Add a small piece of butter or fresh herbs on top if you like. Slice and serve hot.
