These light and fluffy Air Fryer Yogurt Cakes are perfect for a quick dessert or a delightful snack. With a tangy yogurt base and a hint of sweetness, they are ready in no time and are made healthier with the air fryer!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon zest or 1/2 cup fresh berries

Preparation Time

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 15 minutes per batch
  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt, eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing to ensure a tender texture. If using lemon zest or berries, gently fold them in.
  2. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 3 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Molds:
Lightly grease silicone muffin molds or ramekins and fill each one about 3/4 full with the batter.
  4. Air Fry the Cakes:
Place the molds in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch. Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Cool and Serve:
Carefully remove the molds from the air fryer and let them cool for 5 minutes before removing the cakes. Serve warm or at room temperature. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey.
