Ingredients
- 1 medium head of cauliflower (about 500-600 g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- Fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 200 °C (400 °F) for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare the Cauliflower:
- Wash the cauliflower and remove the leaves and stem. Cut it into bite-sized florets.
- Season the Cauliflower:
- In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Toss until the cauliflower is evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
- Air Fry the Cauliflower:
- Place the seasoned cauliflower florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches if your air fryer is small.
- Air fry at 200 °C (400 °F) for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Check for Doneness:
- The cauliflower should be tender and golden brown. Adjust the cooking time as needed based on your desired level of crispness. If you want it more charred, you can add a few extra minutes.
- Serve:
- Once done, remove the cauliflower from the air fryer and transfer it to a serving bowl.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired, and serve hot.
