INGREDIANTS
150 grams (1 cups) self-raising flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
40 grams (3 tbsp) butter
25 grams (2 tbsp) caster sugar (or normal sugar)
60 ml (¼ cups) milk
DESCRIPTION :
Mix the butter and flour until mix resembles bread crumb texture.
Add the sugar, baking powder and milk and mix it until you can make it into a firm ball of dough.
Flatten it out onto a floured work surface until it is disc shaped and about 2cm thick.
Cut out the scone shapes with a cutter or rim of a mug.
Reform the ball of dough if necessary until you have made 4 scones.
You can preheat the air fryer if you wish (I didn’t)
Place the scones on parchment/baking paper in the air fryer and air fry at 180° for 12 minutes.
Let them cool on a rack if you can.
Oh yeah, brush a little milk on top before putting them in the air fryer to make them golden.
